Beautiful! I like the idea very much, it's so classic, but it works. And the puppy certainly plays it's part well :)
Compositionwise I think it's great how sharp the eyes are while the muzzle and paw are blurry. Even if that is coincidental, it draws the viewer to the puppy's eyes. And they are sooo cute!
